Wood petals overlap outward from a central iron hub on Alvar, each ring slightly wider than the one beneath it, so the shade is built up in stages rather than pressed in one piece. The result carries grain and edge shadow that a molded shade cannot produce. The petals are genuinely wood, set on an iron frame with PVC detailing, and the layering is structural as much as decorative.

Those gaps between the layers do a job. Light escapes through them as well as through the open base, so the shade becomes part of the lit surface and the ceiling above picks up a faint halo instead of going dark. Color temperature is fixed at 3000K, warm enough to keep the timber reading as timber rather than washing it toward gray, and one fixture covers roughly 108 to 161 square feet.

Three diameters are offered at 11.8, 19.7 and 23.6 inches, and the smallest is not a token size: it works in a row of three above a counter where the 23.6 inch version would want a room to itself. The socket is E26 and takes an LED lamp, supplied separately, and the suspension cable adjusts to 59 inches. It runs on 120V, 60Hz US mains, and it hangs from a standard ceiling box. Certification is CCC, RoHS and CE.

The 11.8 inch is the one to repeat, two or three in a row over a counter or an island. The 19.7 inch suits a smaller dining table, and the 23.6 inch is large enough to hang on its own over a table. Rated coverage runs from 108 to 161 sq ft across the three sizes.
No. It takes one E26 medium base bulb, the standard US screw fitting, and you supply it. The specification lists 3000K warm white, so fit a warm white bulb if you want the tone shown in the photographs.
The cable suspends it up to 59 inches below the ceiling and shortens from there, so you can drop it low over a dining table or keep it close to the ceiling in a room where headroom matters.

Pendants live or die on drop height. Too high and the light scatters, too low and it blocks the sightline across the room.
