A 9.8 inch globe is a deliberate size. Large enough to register as a fixture from across a room, small enough that three of them in a row over an island still leave the sightline open. Fumo is sold as a single pendant, and that is the point: you decide whether the run is one, two or three, and you space them to your own worktop instead of to a fixed factory bar.

The shade is hand blown, so the tint shifts slightly from globe to globe and the surface holds faint waves that catch the light. Smoked glass is doing the real work. It turns a bare filament bulb into a warm even glow rather than a hot point, and when the light is off it hides the bulb's outline behind the tint instead of putting it on display. The fitting is matte black metal on a black fabric covered cable, a pairing that sits with black tapware, pale stone and warm timber without having to match any of them exactly.

Drop adjusts between 15.7 and 62.2 inches, so the same pendant hangs low over a breakfast bar or high in a stairwell. It hardwires to a ceiling junction box, which is electrician work if you are not comfortable at the ceiling rose. Bulbs are not included, and a warm white decorative bulb is what this shade was drawn around.

Closely, but not identically. The glass is hand blown, so the tint shifts a little from globe to globe and each shade holds faint waves in the surface. In a row that reads as character rather than as a fault.
The drop adjusts from 15.7 inches out to 62.2, which covers a pendant hung close over a bar and one dropped into a stairwell. It is hardwired to a ceiling point.
The shade is 9.8 inches across, large enough to register from across a room and small enough that three in a row still leave the sightline open. Each one is a separate fixture, so plan a ceiling point for each.

Pendants live or die on drop height. Too high and the light scatters, too low and it blocks the sightline across the room.
