Amiens is assembled from layers of curved acrylic petals overlapping outward from a white metal hub, and it hangs from three fine cables under a round ceiling canopy. The silhouette is open rather than solid: from below you look through the gaps between petals to the light behind them, and from the side the layers close up into a soft lotus profile. Nothing about the construction is heavy, and that is what lets a 27.6 inch fixture hang over a dining table without shutting the room down.

Two E26 sockets share the center, so the output is higher than a single pendant of the same width, and the light spreads across the petal layers instead of concentrating into one bright spot. Maximum draw is 40 watts. The acrylic diffuses rather than reflects, giving a flat even light with no glare off the bulb itself, and the plated white finish keeps the whole fixture reading as a single color whether it is lit or dark.

Four diameters cover most rooms. 15.7 inches suits a hallway or a bedside, 19.7 a small table, 23.6 a standard dining table, and 27.6 an island or a room where the fixture is meant to be the feature people notice first. All four are ceiling mounted and hardwire to a junction box on 120V, 60Hz US mains. Bulbs are not included and the fixture itself is not dimmable, so the light level is decided entirely by the bulbs you put in. Indoor use.

Wide without closing the room down

The petals overlap outward with gaps between them, so you look through the fixture to the room behind it. That is why the 27.6 inch size can hang over a dining table where a solid shade of the same width would sit there like a lid.

Acrylic, on a plated white metal hub. The acrylic diffuses rather than reflects, which is what gives the flat even light with no glare off the bulbs. Only the hub and the canopy are metal.
No. The fixture is not dimmable, so brightness is set by the two E26 bulbs you fit, within the 40 watt maximum. Choose the lamp output that suits the room before you install it.
Four are offered at 15.7, 19.7, 23.6 and 27.6 inches. The 27.6 inch is the dining table size, the 23.6 suits a kitchen island, and the two smaller ones work over a side table, in a bedroom or in a hallway. The shape is identical across all four.

Pendants live or die on drop height. Too high and the light scatters, too low and it blocks the sightline across the room.

  • Hanging two or threeSpace them 24 to 30 inches apart and keep about 6 inches in from each end of the island.
