Real Italian travertine, carved rather than imitated, gives the Venosa its warm cream tone and its open pore structure. The drum profile is kept shallow so the stone stays readable instead of turning into a solid block overhead, and an integrated LED lights it from below as one soft continuous band.

Travertine is a quarried sedimentary stone, so no two pendants match: the pitting and the depth of the cream shift from piece to piece, which is the material behaving correctly rather than inconsistently. Every configuration ships as the TRIAC warm dimming build, which drops color temperature as it dims and works from a standard wall dimmer, so the fixture can move from working light to evening light on one circuit.

Three lengths track the surface below them. A single 7.9 inch disc suits a console or a small table. The 21.7 inch two-light bar spans a run of roughly 29 to 32 inches, and the 39.4 inch three-light bar covers 53 to 59 inches. As a rule the bar should reach about two thirds to three quarters of the surface it hangs over, with at least 6 inches of surface left past each end. Set the bottom 30 to 36 inches above an island or a table top, and keep the lowest point 7 feet clear of a walking surface. It is hardwired with adjustable suspension and a licensed electrician should install it. Dust with a soft dry cloth and keep acidic cleaners off the stone, which they etch.

Quarried stone, not a stone look

The cream tone and the open pitting are the material itself, cut from an Italian block. No two pendants carry the same face.

A standard TRIAC wall dimmer. Every configuration is the warm dimming build, so color temperature falls with the output rather than staying fixed.
Dust it with a soft dry cloth. Keep acidic cleaners away from the stone, because they etch travertine.

Pendants live or die on drop height. Too high and the light scatters, too low and it blocks the sightline across the room.

  • Over a kitchen islandBottom of the shade 30 to 36 inches above the countertop.
