Two hand cut alabaster bowls, one facing up and one facing down, threaded on a slim metal stem with turned metal beads above, between and below them. A form this pared back lives or dies on the stone, which is why the stone is the part worth paying for.
Alabaster is dense enough to hold light and translucent enough to pass it, and the result is a glow that comes from inside the stone rather than off a diffuser. Because the material is quarried rather than manufactured, each piece has its own veining and its own pattern of brighter and denser areas once it is lit, which is the part a moulded shade cannot reproduce. The light source is an integrated LED drawing about 10 watts for roughly 1100 lumens, on TRIAC warm dimming.
Two sizes are cut, 5.9 inches across at 15.4 inches tall, or 7.9 by 16.9. A single pendant suits a surface around 18 to 20 inches wide, so use a run over anything larger, spacing centers 24 to 30 inches apart and keeping the end pendants at least 6 inches inside the counter edge. Hang the bottom 30 to 36 inches above a counter or table, and allow an eight foot ceiling as a minimum. Hardwired to a ceiling junction box by a licensed electrician.

Dust with a soft dry cloth. Acidic cleaners etch alabaster permanently and the mark cannot be polished out.
Pendants live or die on drop height. Too high and the light scatters, too low and it blocks the sightline across the room.
