Diameter5.9 to 11.8 in

Cord Length39 in

An opal white glass sphere on a slim iron stem, made small enough to cluster and large enough to stand alone. Four diameters run 5.9, 7.9, 9.8 and 11.8 inches, and each one is as tall as it is wide, so the proportion stays a true globe at every size instead of stretching as it grows.

The fitting comes in black, white or gold, which is what shows when the light is off; the opal glass is what shows when it is on. A single E26 medium base bulb goes inside and is not included. The globe is opal white and frosted, so the lamp is hidden once the fixture is assembled and the glass reads as an even sphere of light rather than as a bright point.

The hanging cord measures 39 inches and shortens at installation. Mounting is hardwired to a ceiling junction box. The rating is IP20, indoor dry locations, and the fixture carries CE and UL certification. Two or three of the smaller sizes at staggered heights over an island is the usual arrangement, and either of the two larger sizes will cover a dining table on its own. Note that the cord is shorter here than on most pendants, which suits a standard eight foot ceiling and rules out a double height room without an extension.

A true globe at every size

Height equals diameter at 5.9, 7.9, 9.8 and 11.8 inches, so the shape never stretches as it grows. A cluster of mixed sizes still reads as one family.

About this piece

Shipping, returns and everything else is on our FAQ page, or email support@elbrune.com.

Opal white and frosted, in all three finishes. The globe has an open ring at the top, but the glass hides the lamp once it is assembled, so there is no visible filament.
39 inches, shortened at installation. That is shorter than most pendants and suits a standard eight foot ceiling; a double height room needs an extension.
No. It takes one E26 medium base bulb. The parts photographs show a lamp seated in the holder, but that is a holder demonstration and no bulb ships.

Pendants live or die on drop height. Too high and the light scatters, too low and it blocks the sightline across the room.

  • Over a kitchen islandBottom of the shade 30 to 36 inches above the countertop.
  • Over a dining tableBottom of the shade 30 to 34 inches above the tabletop.
  • Hanging two or threeSpace them 24 to 30 inches apart and keep about 6 inches in from each end of the island.
  • Open floor or walkwayLeave at least 7 feet of clearance underneath.
  • Picking a sizeOver a table, aim for a shade roughly half to two thirds the width of the table.

Starting points, not rules. Check them against the measurements listed for this piece and against your own ceiling height before you drill.

From Our Customers

What Elbrune shoppers have to say.

Exactly What the Kitchen Needed

Was a little unsure about the size at first, but it ended up looking perfect over our table. The warm light makes the kitchen feel so much cozier. Really happy with it.

Looks So Nice Over the Table

The color is a little warmer in person than I expected, but I actually like it better that way. Looks great over our dining table.
