Three faceted glass shades angle outward from a single round canopy, close enough to the ceiling to clear a low room and deep enough to read as a chandelier rather than a plate. The cut faces break the light into narrow beams, which is why the fixture throws a scattered star pattern across the ceiling once it is switched on.

Each shade is pressed glass with vertical facets, held in an iron frame that carries the finish. Three separate E26 medium base sockets sit inside, so the fixture puts out real working light rather than one dim source, and you choose the warmth and the wattage yourself since no bulbs are supplied. Each socket takes up to 60 watts and the fixture works with dimmable lamps on a compatible dimmer. Black, gold and chrome are offered, and the frame, the sockets and the canopy all match the chosen finish.

The fixture measures 9.8 inches across and 11 inches from the ceiling to the lowest glass, and weighs 5.7 pounds. It ships assembled and hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box, with no rod or chain to cut to length. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor locations and carries CE and UL marks. Hallways, bedrooms and entryways with a standard ceiling height are where the shallow drop earns its place.

Cut glass throws a star pattern

The faceted shades break the light into narrow beams, so the ceiling around the fixture fills with a scattered pattern the moment it is switched on.

Enough light for a real hall

Three separate sockets carry a hallway or a bedroom alone.

Black, gold or chrome

Frame, sockets and canopy all match the finish you pick.

No. The shades are clear pressed glass with cut vertical facets, held in an iron frame. There are no crystal drops or prisms on this fixture.
Up to 60 watts per socket across the three sockets, and dimmable bulbs are compatible. No bulbs are supplied, so you choose the warmth and the output.
It hangs 11 inches from the ceiling to the lowest glass and is 9.8 inches across, so it clears a standard eight foot ceiling comfortably. It ships assembled and hardwires straight to a junction box with no rod or chain to cut.

Flush and semi-flush fixtures exist for ceilings that cannot give up the height. Choosing between them is mostly a clearance question.

  • Ceilings under 8 feetChoose flush. A semi-flush will feel low.
  • Ceilings 8 to 10 feetSemi-flush works and adds some depth to the room.
  • Minimum clearanceAt least 7 feet from the floor to the lowest point of the fixture.
  • PlacementCentre it in the room, or centre it over the walkway in a hallway rather than on the room's midpoint.
  • Hallways and landingsOne fixture roughly every 8 to 10 feet keeps the light even.

Starting points, not rules. Check them against the measurements listed for this piece and against your own ceiling height before you drill.

From Our Customers

What Elbrune shoppers have to say.

Exactly What the Kitchen Needed

Was a little unsure about the size at first, but it ended up looking perfect over our table. The warm light makes the kitchen feel so much cozier. Really happy with it.

Took a Little Longer, but I Love It

Shipping took a few days longer than expected, but everything arrived safely. The lamp looks really nice on our nightstand and customer service was helpful when I asked for an update.

Glad I Went for It

I hadn’t ordered from Elbrune before so I was a little nervous. Everything arrived well packed though and the light looks even nicer in person :)

Looks So Nice Over the Table

The color is a little warmer in person than I expected, but I actually like it better that way. Looks great over our dining table.

Made Our Patio Look So Much Better

We put these by the back door and I’m really happy with them. They give off plenty of light and made the patio feel a lot nicer at night.

Took a While, but Worth It

Delivery took around 10 days, but other than that no complaints. The lamp looks great in our living room and feels really solid.

Light sets the room

Ceiling light is the first thing a room reads and the last thing most people change.

Hung at the right height

Every drop, rod and cord length is listed, so it lands where you want it.

Warm, not clinical

Chosen for the quality of the light as much as the shape of the fixture.
