Bellara is a plain vertical bar of light for the outside of a house, and the restraint is the point. No lantern shape, no visible bulb, no ornament: a stainless steel channel finished in dark anthracite with an acrylic face that glows evenly end to end, which is what modern render, brick and timber cladding tend to ask for.

The rating is IP55, meaning the housing is protected against dust and against low pressure water spray. That covers a wall under an overhang, a recessed entrance or a facade that takes weather rather than standing water, and it is not the rating to choose for a fully exposed coastal wall or a position with no shelter at all. Stainless steel is the right body for that duty, holding up where painted steel would mark.

Light is integrated LED in a warm white tone, so there is no bulb to buy and nothing to replace. Three lengths are made: 23.6 inches at 18 watts, 31.5 inches at 24 watts and 47.2 inches at 36 watts, all between 3.5 and 3.9 inches wide and projecting 2.8 to 3.5 inches from the wall, so a pair can flank a door or a single long unit can mark a corner. Installation is hardwired to an exterior junction box and should be done by an electrician.

An acrylic face glows evenly end to end with no hotspot and no bulb showing, so what a visitor sees is a line on the wall rather than a lamp on it. That is what modern render, brick and timber cladding tend to ask for.

It is IP55, which covers dust and low pressure spray. That suits a wall under an overhang, a recessed entrance or a facade that takes weather. It is not the rating for a fully exposed or coastal position.
No. The LED is integrated and supplied, in a warm white tone. Draw is 18 watts on the 23.6 inch, 24 on the 31.5 inch and 36 on the 47.2 inch.

Outdoor fixtures are sized larger than they look indoors, and the rating matters as much as the height.

  • Before you buyCheck the fixture's damp or wet rating against where it will sit. Anything taking direct rain needs a wet rating.
