Height21.7 or 28 in

Two lengths, 21.7 inches and 28 inches, of a wall light barely an inch and a half wide. The iron body carries an acrylic diffuser down its face, so the LED behind it reads as one continuous line rather than a row of points, and the black and white finishes both sit quietly against a painted wall until the light is switched on.

The LEDs are integrated and supplied, fixed at a warm white. The shorter version draws 14 watts for 1,120 lumens; the taller one draws 16 watts for 1,280 lumens. That is enough to work as the only light on a wall beside a bed, above a dining sideboard, or as a pair flanking a living room console. Nothing to buy, nothing to replace, and no color temperature to choose and later regret.

Power is hardwired to a junction box, so an electrician or confident wiring is needed; there is no cord and no plug. The body is only 1.6 inches in diameter, which keeps the projection off the wall minimal in a corridor or beside a doorway. The source suggests rooms of roughly 110 to 215 square feet, where the output works as ambient or accent light alongside a ceiling fixture rather than replacing it. Wipe the surface with a soft dry cloth. Certified CE and UL.

A line of light, not a bulb behind a shade

The acrylic diffuser runs the full face of the bar, so the LED behind it reads as one continuous band instead of a row of points. That is the difference between architectural wall lighting and a decorative sconce.

Nothing to maintain

The warm white is fixed and the LED is already fitted.

14 watts and 1,120 lumens at 21.7 inches, 16 watts and 1,280 lumens at 28 inches. That is enough to work as the only light on a wall beside a bed, above a sideboard, or as a pair flanking a console. Suggested room size is 110 to 215 square feet.
No. It is a fixed warm white, which also means there is no temperature decision to regret later. The LED is supplied fitted, so there is no bulb to source or replace.
Hardwired to a junction box rather than plugged in, so an electrician or confident wiring is needed. A pair either side of a bed needs two boxes.

Sconces are the easiest fixture to hang badly. Height is set by what they sit next to, not by the wall.

  • General wall heightCentre of the fixture 60 to 66 inches from the finished floor.
  • Beside a bedCentre 30 to 36 inches above the top of the mattress, so the light falls on the page and not in your eyes.
  • Flanking a mirrorMount as a pair, 28 to 40 inches apart, centred at about eye level.
  • Above a mirror insteadCentre 75 to 80 inches from the floor, roughly 3 to 8 inches above the mirror top.
  • Along a hallwayEvery 8 to 10 feet, and measure the projection against the walkway before mounting in a narrow corridor.
  • At a vanityA pair either side lights a face evenly. A single fixture overhead casts shadows downward.

Starting points, not rules. Check them against the measurements listed for this piece and against your own wall before you drill.

From Our Customers

What Elbrune shoppers have to say.

Exactly What the Kitchen Needed

Was a little unsure about the size at first, but it ended up looking perfect over our table. The warm light makes the kitchen feel so much cozier. Really happy with it.

Took a Little Longer, but I Love It

Shipping took a few days longer than expected, but everything arrived safely. The lamp looks really nice on our nightstand and customer service was helpful when I asked for an update.

Glad I Went for It

I hadn’t ordered from Elbrune before so I was a little nervous. Everything arrived well packed though and the light looks even nicer in person :)

Looks So Nice Over the Table

The color is a little warmer in person than I expected, but I actually like it better that way. Looks great over our dining table.

Made Our Patio Look So Much Better

We put these by the back door and I’m really happy with them. They give off plenty of light and made the patio feel a lot nicer at night.

Took a While, but Worth It

Delivery took around 10 days, but other than that no complaints. The lamp looks great in our living room and feels really solid.

Light where you use it

Wall light works close up, softening a room instead of flooding it.

Beside a bed, above a mirror

The places a room needs light most are rarely the middle of the ceiling.

Up, down or both

Which way a sconce throws its light changes the whole wall.
