Brass arms radiate from a central hub, each one finished with an opal glass globe, and the head count changes the whole silhouette: six arms read as a wide open star, sixteen close into a dense sphere of light. Doretta answers a room that wants a centerpiece rather than illumination, above a dining table, across a bare bed wall, or dropped into a stairwell where a small pendant simply disappears.

The arms are brass and the shades are glass, and that matters for how the light behaves. Opal glass diffuses instead of exposing, so each globe glows evenly with no bright filament showing through, and with six to sixteen of them a room fills from many small sources rather than one hot center. It is a flattering light to eat under and an easy one to live under. Bulbs are not supplied, so budget for a set of screw-base globe bulbs with the fixture.

Four sizes span 25.2 inches across at six lights up to 39.4 inches at sixteen, with an overall height of 19.7 to 21.7 inches. Measure before choosing: the largest wants a generous ceiling above a table, the smallest works in a standard room. Installation is hardwired at a ceiling junction box on 120V, 60Hz US mains, so cut the circuit at the breaker first and bring in an electrician if wiring at the box is new to you.

The head count changes the whole shape

Six arms read as a wide open star. Sixteen close into a dense sphere of light. It is a design decision rather than an upsell, and it is the one worth making before you settle on a diameter.

Sixteen light brass chandelier with opal white glass globes packed into a dense sphere, shown on a plain pale grey background.

No glare center

Opal glass diffuses, so each globe glows with nothing showing.

25.2 up to 39.4 inches

The same design from a bedroom to a double height stairwell.

No, and with six to sixteen sockets that is worth budgeting for. The base is E26 medium and the shades are sized for a G80 globe bulb.
Six lights span 25.2 inches, eight span 27.6, twelve span 31.5 and sixteen span 39.4. Height is 19.7 inches on the six light and 21.7 inches on the rest, so check the drop as well as the width over a table.
Brass arms radiating from a central hub, with opal glass shades. The opal glass is what gives the even glow, because it diffuses the lamp instead of exposing it.

A chandelier is sized to the room as much as to the table. Get the diameter right first, then the height.

  • Over a dining tableBottom of the fixture 30 to 34 inches above the tabletop.
  • In a room with no tableKeep at least 7 feet of floor clearance at the lowest point.
  • In a two storey entryHang it so the bottom sits level with the middle of the window from outside, never below 7 feet.
  • Picking a sizeAdd the room's length and width in feet. That number in inches is a good diameter.
  • Over a table specificallyDiameter about half the table width, and at least 12 inches narrower than the table on every side.

Starting points, not rules. Check them against the measurements listed for this piece and against your own ceiling height before you drill.

From Our Customers

What Elbrune shoppers have to say.

Exactly What the Kitchen Needed

Was a little unsure about the size at first, but it ended up looking perfect over our table. The warm light makes the kitchen feel so much cozier. Really happy with it.

Took a Little Longer, but I Love It

Shipping took a few days longer than expected, but everything arrived safely. The lamp looks really nice on our nightstand and customer service was helpful when I asked for an update.

Glad I Went for It

I hadn’t ordered from Elbrune before so I was a little nervous. Everything arrived well packed though and the light looks even nicer in person :)

Looks So Nice Over the Table

The color is a little warmer in person than I expected, but I actually like it better that way. Looks great over our dining table.

Made Our Patio Look So Much Better

We put these by the back door and I’m really happy with them. They give off plenty of light and made the patio feel a lot nicer at night.

Took a While, but Worth It

Delivery took around 10 days, but other than that no complaints. The lamp looks great in our living room and feels really solid.

Light sets the room

Ceiling light is the first thing a room reads and the last thing most people change.

Hung at the right height

Every drop, rod and cord length is listed, so it lands where you want it.

Warm, not clinical

Chosen for the quality of the light as much as the shape of the fixture.
