Barely four inches across, Javea is built for the ceilings a full fixture would swamp: the turn at the top of a staircase, the strip above a closet door, the short run of hallway between two bedrooms. It reads more like a piece of hardware jewelry than a light fitting, which is why it works repeated in a row of three as readily as it does alone.
The body is iron finished in gold, closed underneath by a faceted crystal orb. A single G9 lamp sits inside that orb, so light leaves in two directions at once: a glow through the cut glass below, and a scatter of small bright points thrown up and outward across the ceiling. The faceting is what makes the second effect possible, and it is why the fixture looks considerably more expensive lit than unlit.
Two sizes are made, 3.9 and 4.3 inches in diameter, standing 4.3 and 5.1 inches from the ceiling. Both mount tight to a junction box and wire directly, so a switched ceiling circuit is the starting point. The G9 bulb is not supplied, and because there is no driver inside the fixture, whether it dims is decided entirely by the lamp you fit.

Built for the small ceiling
Some ceilings a normal fixture simply swamps: the turn at the top of a staircase, the strip above a closet door, the short run of hallway between two bedrooms. Javea is barely four inches across and reads closer to a piece of hardware jewelry than a light fitting, which is why it holds those places instead of filling them.

Two sizes are made. The smaller is 3.9 inches across and stands 4.3 inches from the ceiling, the larger 4.3 inches across and 5.1 inches deep. Both mount tight to a junction box.
There is no driver inside the fixture, so that comes down entirely to the G9 lamp you fit and the switch it runs on. The bulb is not supplied.
It takes a single G9 lamp, so treat it as ceiling jewelry for a stair turn, a closet threshold or a short corridor rather than as a room's main light. Down a longer hallway, repeat it.
Flush and semi-flush fixtures exist for ceilings that cannot give up the height. Choosing between them is mostly a clearance question.
- Ceilings under 8 feetChoose flush. A semi-flush will feel low.
- Ceilings 8 to 10 feetSemi-flush works and adds some depth to the room.
