Quadra is one square acrylic panel in a slim black and white frame, and the panel is the entire design. It spreads the LED output across its full face, so a room gets even light off the ceiling rather than a bright center with fall-off at the edges. At 32 watts and 2,560 lumens it is specified for spaces of roughly 160 to 320 square feet, which covers most living rooms and the larger bedrooms.

A flick of the wall switch cycles the fixture through three white tones, so the same light reads cool and functional through the day and warmer in the evening, with no dimmer, remote or app to buy or configure. The LEDs are built in and the driver is supplied, so there is no bulb to source and nothing to replace on a schedule. The frame is metal, the diffuser is acrylic, and the whole face wipes clean with a dry cloth.

It is hardwired at the ceiling and does need assembling on installation, which is work for the junction box rather than a plug. Rated for dry locations only, so not a bathroom and not a covered porch, and carrying UL and CE certification. Panel dimensions are not published by the manufacturer, so if you are replacing an existing fitting, measure the space you have before ordering.

The panel is the design

One square acrylic face spreads the output across its whole surface, so a room gets even light off the ceiling rather than a bright center with fall off at the edges. There is nothing else to it, which is the point.

Flick the wall switch, which cycles the three settings. There is no dimmer, remote, hub or app to buy or configure.
No. The LEDs are built in and the driver is supplied, so there is no bulb to source and nothing on a replacement schedule. It hardwires to a ceiling point and assembly is required.

Flush and semi-flush fixtures exist for ceilings that cannot give up the height. Choosing between them is mostly a clearance question.

  • Ceilings under 8 feetChoose flush. A semi-flush will feel low.
  • Ceilings 8 to 10 feetSemi-flush works and adds some depth to the room.
  • Minimum clearanceAt least 7 feet from the floor to the lowest point of the fixture.
  • PlacementCentre it in the room, or centre it over the walkway in a hallway rather than on the room's midpoint.
  • Hallways and landingsOne fixture roughly every 8 to 10 feet keeps the light even.
