Most low ceilings get a flat disc. The Hadley gives them a bloom instead, overlapping petals fanned around a single central lamp, catching and scattering the output across their inner faces so the fixture reads as lit sculpture rather than a covered socket. It sits close to the ceiling, which is the practical reason it exists, and at 9.8 inches deep it clears a door swing in a hallway or a closet without drama.
Each petal reflects rather than simply transmits, so the glow builds outward in layers and the ceiling around the fixture picks up a soft halo. Three shade colors change the effect entirely: clear for the most light and the least statement, green for something cooler and more botanical, pink for a warmer cast that suits a bedroom at night. The diameter stays at 7.9 inches in all three, modest enough for a small landing or a nook.
Installation is a standard hardwired ceiling fitting on 120V, and the carton includes the mounting bracket, a screw set and an instruction manual, so no separate hardware run is needed. The socket takes an E26 medium base bulb up to 40W, not supplied, which leaves brightness and color temperature your decision. At 2.2 pounds the whole fixture is light enough for one person to hold in place while the bracket is secured.

The whole fixture is 9.8 inches deep and 7.9 inches across, and it mounts tight to the ceiling. That is shallow enough to clear a door swing in a hallway or a closet.
It hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box on 120V, and the carton includes the mounting bracket, a screw set and an instruction manual. At 2.2 pounds one person can hold it in place while the bracket is secured.
Flush and semi-flush fixtures exist for ceilings that cannot give up the height. Choosing between them is mostly a clearance question.
