Colored glass is the whole point of Talia. The 11 inch shade comes in amber, green or purple, deep enough to read as a real hue against a white ceiling and clear enough that the light passing through it picks up the tint rather than blocking it. One fixture over a breakfast bar reads as a deliberate accent. A pair over a longer counter reads as a scheme. The hardware is left plain so the glass carries the color on its own.

At 11 inches across and 6.3 inches deep the shade is substantial without crowding a sightline, which is why it sits equally well over a kitchen island, a dining table or a side console. The cord adjusts up to 59 inches, so the hanging height can be set once and left alone, whether the ceiling is standard or the fixture is dropping over a raised counter. The body is glass with metal hardware and a ceiling canopy.

Talia takes a single E26 (medium base) bulb, the standard US screw thread, and it is not supplied. That is left open on purpose. A clear filament bulb keeps the tinted glass looking like glass, while a frosted bulb softens the color and spreads the light further. Whether it dims depends entirely on the bulb and the switch you pair it with, not on the fixture. It is a wired ceiling light rather than a plug in lamp, so it mounts to a ceiling outlet box, and it is rated for dry indoor locations only.

The glass is the reason to buy it

Amber, green and purple are deep enough to read as a real hue against a white ceiling and clear enough that the light passing through picks up the tint rather than being blocked by it. One over a breakfast bar is an accent. A pair over a longer counter is a scheme.

One, or a run of them

The cord adjusts, so a pair can sit level or staggered.

The bulb sets the intensity

Filament pushes the tint hard; frosted pulls it back.

Amber is the warmest of the three, green the coolest and purple the least expected. All three are saturated rather than faint, so the choice is a color decision for the room rather than three shades of the same thing.
No. It takes one E26 medium base bulb, and the choice matters here: a clear filament lamp pushes the tint to its most intense, a frosted one softens both the color and the glare.
Up to 59 inches on the adjustable cord, set once at installation. The shade is 11 inches across and 6.3 deep, substantial without crowding a sightline over an island or a table.

Pendants live or die on drop height. Too high and the light scatters, too low and it blocks the sightline across the room.

  • Over a kitchen islandBottom of the shade 30 to 36 inches above the countertop.
  • Over a dining tableBottom of the shade 30 to 34 inches above the tabletop.
  • Hanging two or threeSpace them 24 to 30 inches apart and keep about 6 inches in from each end of the island.
  • Open floor or walkwayLeave at least 7 feet of clearance underneath.
  • Picking a sizeOver a table, aim for a shade roughly half to two thirds the width of the table.

Starting points, not rules. Check them against the measurements listed for this piece and against your own ceiling height before you drill.

From Our Customers

What Elbrune shoppers have to say.

Exactly What the Kitchen Needed

Was a little unsure about the size at first, but it ended up looking perfect over our table. The warm light makes the kitchen feel so much cozier. Really happy with it.

Took a Little Longer, but I Love It

Shipping took a few days longer than expected, but everything arrived safely. The lamp looks really nice on our nightstand and customer service was helpful when I asked for an update.

Glad I Went for It

I hadn’t ordered from Elbrune before so I was a little nervous. Everything arrived well packed though and the light looks even nicer in person :)

Looks So Nice Over the Table

The color is a little warmer in person than I expected, but I actually like it better that way. Looks great over our dining table.

Made Our Patio Look So Much Better

We put these by the back door and I’m really happy with them. They give off plenty of light and made the patio feel a lot nicer at night.

Took a While, but Worth It

Delivery took around 10 days, but other than that no complaints. The lamp looks great in our living room and feels really solid.

Light sets the room

Ceiling light is the first thing a room reads and the last thing most people change.

Hung at the right height

Every drop, rod and cord length is listed, so it lands where you want it.

Warm, not clinical

Chosen for the quality of the light as much as the shape of the fixture.
