IP65 is the number to check before anything goes onto an exposed wall, and it is the one Ventoux carries: sealed against dust and against water jetted from any direction, which covers driving rain on a front elevation with nothing above it. The body is aluminum and the lit face is acrylic, a pairing chosen for weather rather than for looks.

Two trims share that body. Open Frame sets the lit panel forward inside a bracket that stands off the wall, so light escapes around the panel and washes the surface above and below it. Inset Frame holds the panel inside a closed square surround, tighter to the wall, with the glow held at the front. Two sizes run across both: 8.1 inches long at 24 watts and 1920 lumens, or 14 inches long at 36 watts and 2800 lumens, each 6.5 inches wide. The larger is a front door or driveway fixture; the smaller repeats well along a fence or a run of steps.

Output is warm light, which reads better against brick, render and timber after dark than cool white and does not flatten a planted border into gray. The fixture is hardwired, so it wants an existing outdoor point or a new one run by an electrician, and the seal only performs if the back plate is mounted flat against the wall. There is no bulb to fit, which on an outdoor fixture also means one fewer seal to open. Certification is CE and UL.
