Clairon builds out from a central stem into a symmetrical arrangement of glass shades, three to eight of them depending on the configuration, each on its own arm. The symmetry is the point: the fixture looks the same from every seat at a table, which is not true of the asymmetric cluster designs it competes with, and it means there is no correct orientation to work out when you install it.
The metalwork comes in a polished silver that reads as chrome, or a warmer gold. Each shade takes a G9 bi-pin lamp, and because the glass is what you actually see rather than the lamp, the bulb color is yours to decide: a warm bulb behind this glass gives a dining room its evening light, a neutral one gives a kitchen a working light. The fixture is rated at 40 watts.
Count and span move together here. Three lights spans 25.6 inches and drops 11.8. Four and five both span 27.6 inches at a 13.8 inch drop, so the difference between those two is density rather than footprint. Six spans 33.5 inches, eight spans 37.4, both at the same 13.8 inch drop. Iron frame, glass shades, hardwired at the ceiling on 120V, 60Hz US mains. G9 bulbs are not supplied, so add them to the order, and note there are eight sockets to fill on the largest version. UL and CE certification apply.

No front to get wrong
The arms fan out evenly from a central stem, so the chandelier shows the same face from every seat at a table and there is no correct orientation to work out when you install it. An asymmetric cluster cannot say that.
The glass hides the lamp
So the bulb color you choose is what sets the room.

Three lights span 25.6 inches, four and five both span 27.6, six spans 33.5 and eight spans 37.4. Because four and five share a span, you can add density without adding width, which matters over a table of a fixed size.
No. Each shade takes a G9 bi-pin lamp and none are supplied. Because the glass hides the lamp rather than showing it, the color temperature you fit is what decides whether the fixture reads as an evening dining light or a neutral kitchen one.
The silver finish reads as chrome. The other option is a warmer gold, which does not, so we describe the two as silver and gold rather than applying chrome to both.
A chandelier is sized to the room as much as to the table. Get the diameter right first, then the height.
- Over a dining tableBottom of the fixture 30 to 34 inches above the tabletop.
- In a room with no tableKeep at least 7 feet of floor clearance at the lowest point.
- In a two storey entryHang it so the bottom sits level with the middle of the window from outside, never below 7 feet.
- Picking a sizeAdd the room's length and width in feet. That number in inches is a good diameter.
- Over a table specificallyDiameter about half the table width, and at least 12 inches narrower than the table on every side.
