Exactly What the Kitchen Needed
Was a little unsure about the size at first, but it ended up looking perfect over our table. The warm light makes the kitchen feel so much cozier. Really happy with it.

Knitted by hand rather than by machine, this wool throw carries a stitch that shifts slightly across its width. Loops sit a little looser in one place and tighter in another, and the surface reads as worked rather than manufactured. That is the character of a hand knit piece and it becomes more pronounced with use, not less.
Wool is why it performs the way it does. The fiber insulates while still passing moisture vapor, so the throw holds warmth without turning clammy against the skin, and it resists odor and soiling well enough that airing it outdoors usually does more than a wash would. Hand knitting opens the stitch further than a machine would at the same yarn weight, which is where the drape comes from: real visual bulk over a sofa arm with very little weight in the hand.
It measures 39.4 by 50 inches, which covers a sofa arm, an armchair or the end of a bed. Natural cream sits easily against linen, oak and pale plaster. Care is simple but specific. Air it in preference to washing. When a wash is genuinely needed, use cold water and a wool detergent, press the water out instead of wringing, and dry it flat away from heat and sunlight. Never tumble dry it, because wool felts irreversibly and the piece cannot be brought back. Light pilling in the first few weeks is normal and lifts away with a wool comb.

What Elbrune shoppers have to say.
Was a little unsure about the size at first, but it ended up looking perfect over our table. The warm light makes the kitchen feel so much cozier. Really happy with it.
Shipping took a few days longer than expected, but everything arrived safely. The lamp looks really nice on our nightstand and customer service was helpful when I asked for an update.
I hadn’t ordered from Elbrune before so I was a little nervous. Everything arrived well packed though and the light looks even nicer in person :)
The color is a little warmer in person than I expected, but I actually like it better that way. Looks great over our dining table.
We put these by the back door and I’m really happy with them. They give off plenty of light and made the patio feel a lot nicer at night.
Delivery took around 10 days, but other than that no complaints. The lamp looks great in our living room and feels really solid.
