The glass is rippled and sand frosted rather than smooth, so light is already diffused by the time it leaves the fixture. There is no glare, no hard shadow edge and no bright spot burned into the middle of the ceiling, which is the usual failure of a flush fitting in a small room. A brushed gold frame reads warm against white paint and still holds its own against a darker color.

Depth is the reason to choose a flush mount, and this one runs between 4.7 and 5.9 inches depending on size. That suits bedrooms with lower ceilings, hallways, walk in closets and kitchens where a pendant would be in the way. Four diameters are offered: the 7.9 inch for a small entry, the 11.8 inch for an average bedroom, the 15.7 inch for a large one, and the 19.7 inch which can light an open living area on its own. A simple rule for sizing is to add room length and width in feet and match that figure to the diameter in inches.

Every size carries the TRIAC warm dimming module, so output pulls back from a compatible wall dimmer rather than being fixed. Installation is to a standard junction box and the LED runs cool enough to sit close to a low ceiling, though hardwiring should be done by a licensed electrician to local code. For cleaning, the glass ring lifts away and a dry microfiber cloth is usually all it needs.

Add the room length and width in feet and match that figure to the diameter in inches. The 7.9 inch suits a small entry, 11.8 an average bedroom, 15.7 a large one and 19.7 an open living area.
Yes. Every size is the warm dimming build and works from a compatible TRIAC wall dimmer, sold separately. There is no color temperature choice.
The glass ring lifts away from the frame, and a dry microfiber cloth is usually all it needs.

Flush and semi-flush fixtures exist for ceilings that cannot give up the height. Choosing between them is mostly a clearance question.

  • Ceilings under 8 feetChoose flush. A semi-flush will feel low.
  • Ceilings 8 to 10 feetSemi-flush works and adds some depth to the room.
  • Minimum clearanceAt least 7 feet from the floor to the lowest point of the fixture.
