Eleven lit points on a fixture only 5.5 inches deep is the trick Ramelle pulls off. Arms curve out from a central hub the way a branch divides, each ending in a small lit head, and because the whole structure stays 5.5 inches off the plaster the effect spreads sideways instead of hanging down: a ceiling that looks occupied with nothing intruding into the room below it.

Three configurations exist, and the head count matters more than the diameter. Seven heads spread across 31.9 inches, nine across 36.2 inches, eleven across 35.4 inches, so the eleven head version is the densest rather than the widest. Maximum load runs 49, 63 and 77 watts in that order. Light comes from LED with G9 (bi-pin) bulbs, and all three configurations step through three color temperatures at the wall switch, which matters on a fixture this decorative: the same branch reads warm and soft in an evening living room, then neutral and useful in daylight.

The frame is iron with acrylic heads, in black, white, gold or green. Assembly is required, so allow time on the ladder beyond the wiring itself, and the fixture is hardwired to a ceiling junction box. It is rated for dry locations only, which excludes a bathroom and a covered porch alike. Certification is CE and UL. Set the arms symmetrically before the final tighten, because a branch fixture shows one crooked arm from every seat in the room.

Seven heads spread across 31.9 inches at up to 49 watts, nine across 36.2 inches at 63 watts, and eleven across 35.4 inches at 77 watts. The eleven head version is the densest rather than the widest, which matters if width is your constraint.
At the wall switch, which steps through three settings on all three configurations. There is no remote and no app.
It hardwires to a ceiling point and assembly is required. The heads take G9 bi-pin lamps, the body is iron and acrylic, and it is rated for dry locations only.

Flush and semi-flush fixtures exist for ceilings that cannot give up the height. Choosing between them is mostly a clearance question.

  • Ceilings under 8 feetChoose flush. A semi-flush will feel low.
  • Ceilings 8 to 10 feetSemi-flush works and adds some depth to the room.
  • Minimum clearanceAt least 7 feet from the floor to the lowest point of the fixture.
  • PlacementCentre it in the room, or centre it over the walkway in a hallway rather than on the room's midpoint.
  • Hallways and landingsOne fixture roughly every 8 to 10 feet keeps the light even.
